Let Your Voice Be Heard: The Letters Project

Hospital Sign

Every family’s birth experience is different. You might have had the most amazing nurse supporting and empowering you unconditionally, or an OBGYN whose presence, yet hands-off approach, allowed you to go deep in, focus and do what you and your body needed to do, or a midwife who felt like ‘home,’ made your concerns fade away and helped you let go of what was holding you back in order to move forward… The stories are endless, and sadly, sometimes the way you were treated was not so sweet.

The Letters Project empowers women to speak up about their experiences. If it was positive – let them know what a great job they are doing and how much you appreciate them. If it wasn’t, and you feel there is room for improvement, then share your constructive feedback so that no mother, family, or newborn should have to experience what you and your family did.

The process is simple and should take less than 10 minutes of your time. If you’ve had a hospital birth in the last 5 years and would like to provide feedback to your hospital, just click this Letters Project link and share.

May all of your experiences be empowering, and please do share.

Blessings,

Jodie
