Welcome to my very first blog post!

I recently did a 10 day Vipassana (silent meditation), and amongst some of my AHA! moments I realized that I need to set goals.  Short term goals.

I’m a bit of a procrastinator, so I started a simple post-it-on-my-wall-right-in-front-of-me-so-I-see-it-every-day system.  So far I’ve scratched off 7 items from my post-its.  The biggest, so far, were my new website and blog.  I have to thank my new friend & colleague Briana, of shoots & giggles photography, for the inspiration!  I met her at a recent birth I filmed and absolutely love her work!

So yes! My new website, www.mybirthmovie.com, has been up and running since April 18th, Passover (!), and has already been viewed in 17 countries.

You’ll find video samples of my work, resources I love, FAQ, a media tab and even some photos of me doing my thing.  Check it out, pass it along, and share with your friends, family or anyone who would find it inspiring in any way.

I’ve been receiving incredible feedback and would like to thank the great customer support peeps at bludomain for answering my dozens of questions and fixing the kinks in the process.

In my next blog, I’ll tell you a bit about my 2 most recent births.  Both so different, and both so out of the ordinary.

Happy Passover, Happy Easter, Happy Spring!

Gratefully,

Jodie

  1. As a HypnoBirthing childbirth educator and birth doula I was deepy moved by the beauty of Jodie Myers breech birth documentry. It’s a birth for every woman to see no matter how her baby will come into the world. The joy and complete trust in the mother’s body, baby and Dr. Fischbein all contributed to a blissful birth captured by a brilliant film maker, Jodie Myers.
